I’m Amy, and I run Ground & Flow Yoga & Sound. I am deeply passionate about sharing the power of yoga in a way that feels authentic, thoughtful, and accessible, rooted in yogic philosophy and centred on helping you reconnect with your true, authentic self.
I have been practising yoga for over 20 years, and it has been a constant source of growth, grounding, and joy in my life. In 2024, after completing my 500 hr Yoga Teacher Training, I started Ground & Flow Yoga to create spaces where people can move, breathe, be, feel supported, and inspired to explore yoga in a way that nurtures the whole being — body, mind, and spirit.
I’m inspired by nature, and I love to weave themes, rhythms, and ideas drawn from the natural world into my teachings. Whether it’s the grounding energy of the earth, the flow of water, the clarity of the sky, or the renewal of the seasons, these natural elements shape my classes and create a sense of connection to the world around us.
Since then, I’ve continued to expand my expertise with further training in Yoga Nidra, sound healing, aromatherapy, breath work, and yin yoga, allowing me to create offerings that combine embodied movement, breath, mantra, ritual, and sound. My classes invite you to move mindfully, reconnect with your body, whether that’s through restorative sessions, energising flow, or sound-infused journeys.
Every class is designed to honour where you are in your body and life, with modifications, props, and encouragement so you can feel safe, supported, and empowered. Above all, I’m committed to creating a warm, welcoming community where everyone can feel a sense of connection — to themselves, the practice, and each other.
