The Summer Exhale
Sunday 12th July | 10:30am–4:30pm

As summer reaches its fullest expression, The Summer Exhale invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself through a day of nourishing seasonal practices.

In the height of summer, nature reminds us to open, expand, and receive — yet so often we move through this season rushing, overgiving, and disconnected from our own needs. This retreat is a gentle invitation to pause and exhale; to step away from the noise of everyday life and remember the parts of yourself that feel grounded, joyful, calm, and alive.

Held amongst nature and inspired by the expansive, nourishing energy of summer, the day invites you to move away from constant doing and into a more grounded, embodied way of being.

Together, we’ll move slowly and intentionally through practices designed to support reflection, connection, and inner balance during the vibrant energy of summer.

We will begin with a warming ginger health shot or tea on arrival, before moving into a gently uplifting extended, somatic flow practice in the yoga garden. This will be designed to awaken the body, deepen the breath, and gently energise the nervous system.

From here, we’ll pause for a light vegetarian lunch, with an extended break to rest and integrate. There will be time to journal, pull an oracle card, connect in conversation, or simply sit quietly in the garden. During this time, there will also be the option to join a short guided walk through the surrounding countryside, embracing moments of stillness, gentle foraging, and connection to the natural world. Or, if you prefer, you may remain in the garden to rest, journal, or read.

After lunch, we’ll gather again for a seasonal embodied yin yoga workshop, allowing the body to deeply unwind and release.

We will close the day with a sound immersion, inviting deep rest, integration, and a sense of grounded ease.

In a world that so often teaches us that rest is unproductive, this day is an invitation to move differently — to slow down enough to hear yourself again, reconnect with nature, and remember your own rhythm without rush.

Throughout the day, you’ll experience:

~ Gentle somatic movement and breathwork
~ Deep rest
~ Sound healing and relaxation
~ Journaling and reflection practices
~ Oracle card guidance
~ Nourishing seasonal food, ginger shots, and calming herbal teas
~ Space to rest, connect, and simply be

Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere with grounding rituals, meaningful pauses, and moments of quiet connection — both with yourself and within community.

This retreat is suitable for all, no yoga experience is required.

This day is intentionally limited to 10 spaces to keep the gathering more intimate and spacious.

As autumn deepens and the light begins to soften, The Autumn Return invites you into a beautifully held afternoon into evening of ritual, rest, and gentle transformation.

Beginning at 1pm, we gather in the cosy yurt with cacao and opening circle, before easing into tea, sweetness, and stillness.

The afternoon unfolds through creative expression, restorative yoga and sound, and moments of deep rest — with space to pause, breathe, or step away for a Reiki treatment in the shepherd’s hut or a quiet foraging walk through the land.

As evening draws in, we come together to share a nourishing seasonal Samhain supper, before closing around the fire in a powerful release ritual — letting go of what is ready to be laid down, and returning to yourself with softness, presence, and quiet renewal.
